Simply does no work !!!!

I have wasted many hours to get this S2R working, but to no avail. I have received help (Thank you) but none of the suggestions have helped me (sorry) . I think I am on the right tour, because I do receive pop-ups that the stuff has been send successfully tranmitted !! (I have a Kindle 3G) Problem is that it does not arrive in my Kindle. I have .....@Kindle.com installed. The sent pages are also been displayed on Amazon. I am very frustrated and have now decided to give up and not waste more precious time.

I have now deleted this web. It's absolutely useless to me.

Similar problem here.
I can't receive any page send with addon on FF or with Bookmarklet, i follow the link but not find new info or solution.
I only can receive mobi docs, make with compose option on my account.

What browser were you trying to use sendtoreader on?
kindlejrl, 17.01.2012, 14:36
I say "I can't receive any page send with addon on FF or with Bookmarklet," where FF= FireFox (only Firefox have Addon, Chrome use Extensions)
The alerts with Addon SendToReader, don´t show or say for any problem. Others Bookmarlets like for similar proposal works for me.
SENDtoREADER, 17.01.2012, 15:59
did you try to restart FF after installing the addon? Since you've received the docs produced with Composer, your amazon account is set up correctly, something went wrong with the bookmarklet (that's very strange).Try to drag-n-drop to your bookmarks bar another copy of the bookmarklet, that may help. The last question: is javascript enabled in your browser? Stupid question :) but my bookmarklet is actually a javascript microprogram, so I need to be sure.

Yes, try restart Firefox and PC and install the addon on other machine in my work, same result.
Javascript is active, (this page need JS for post a reply). I leave the account for compose only, but i don´t use more bookmarklet for Send To Reader, your solutions don´t help and you ask for obvious things.

I find other options for same function (KlipMe and ClipDO) and work for me and my kindle, Thanks for your time and attention

I very much appreciate your attempts to help me, but the terminology you are using is absolute abracadabra to me. Yesterday I installed a Wi-Fi wireless router (so called 'hotspot'), which I hope may help by providing a stronger signal. I am still experimenting and hopefully one day I may succeed. One thing is sure, it is not as simple as they make out in their web.
Thanks for trying,

Tom, one more thing: since the docs you've sent have bees successfully delivered to your amazon account, you may ask amazon tech support about receiving them on your Kindle.
SENDtoREADER, 18.01.2012, 03:39
Tom, yes, installing wifi is a tricky process, especially if you are installing a router for the first time. But once it's installed, it makes life way more comfortable, delivering internet to all devices in your home - smartphones, notebooks, tablets and even tv players (wd tv live, iconbit toucan)

I also simply cannot get SendtoReader to work! I have MacOSX, I've tried with Safari and Firefox. The bookmarklet displays as a word (not an icon) but nothing happens when I click on it. Java is enabled. I can receive the text S2R displays on their homepage (I tested one and clicked 'send' and received it). But I cannot get my personal web pages to send to Kindle. What am I doing wrong?
SENDtoREADER, 05.02.2012, 04:04
lobella321, please email me urls of your personal web pages so I can test them.

I also still cannot get it working. However I found an alternative way to upload webs on my Kindle.
1. Click on Menu 2 go to Experimental 3. go to Browse 4. enter the website in the URL at the top.
It takes a while to get it downloaded, so be patient. You can enlarge the font by clicking on Aa and rotate it vertically if needed. Scroll up and down with the 5 way controller. You cannot do it if you have only 3G; you have to have Wi-Fi connectivity as well, which I have just recently installed.
It is not ideal and also depends on the web. However I have been able to read very long texts in my Kindle this way in the comfort of my living room. Good luck.
Let me know how you got on.

Tom, have you tried S2R Composer tool? http://sendtoreader.com/user/compose/
What was the result?
Chippy Backstreet, 29.07.2012, 09:45
I can get S2R to work on the PC but cannot get DroidToReader to work on my HTC One X running ICS. It says invalid username/password but I have definitely inputted the correct details.
