Cut\Convert images for Periodical delivery

I would like to have an option to cut all images from RSS feed or better to convert all images to some low weight grayscale format compatible with Kindle. That will save much money for Amazon send via Whispernet.
4 feeds for 20 items with all pics costed 3.96 USD that is too much.

There is a new option in the "add/edit" Periodical form: "Keep images". Uncheck it and the periodical will not contain any image any more.
